The Marseille singer Soprano, in front of the Toulouse duo Bigflo and Oli, is the favorite personality of 7-14 year olds for the second year in a row, according to an Ipsos poll for Le Journal de Mickey on newsstands Wednesday.
Magician and presenter Eric Antoine, who made it into the top 10 last year, climbed to third place, followed by actor Jean-Paul Rouve and scientific host Jamy Gourmaud.
"We are seeing a rise in the power of TV personalities, the effect of successive confinements such as Eric Antoine, Jamy Gourmaud and also Denis Brogniart in sixth place", underlines the Journal de Mickey.
"With the health crisis, sports competitions did not take place and athletes come down from the podium: Kylian Mbappé falls from 3rd to 13th place and Paul Pogba loses 9 places," adds the magazine.
On the parity side, female personalities only appear in 7th place with singers Angèle and Louane (17th), followed by Vitaa (26th) and actress Mimie Mathy (30th).
This Ipsos study was carried out from February 8 to 15 with 400 children representing 7-14 year olds who spoke from a list of 85 French-speaking personalities who made the news during 2020. Still no YouTuber among the preferred by 7-14 year olds, much less known by the youngest.
In recent years, Le Journal de Mickey has decided not to include political figures in the list offered to the young people questioned.
