Kiel (dpa / lno) - Schleswig-Holstein's Prime Minister Daniel Günther (CDU) canceled a statement on the deliberations of the federal and state governments on how to proceed in the corona crisis late on Monday evening at short notice.

Consultations between the Jamaica coalition and the state government are initially planned in Kiel on Tuesday morning.

When Günther would comment on the deliberations of the heads of government, it was not initially clear.

Schleswig-Holstein and four other states had previously interrupted the federal-state consultations.

The northernmost federal state wants to enable its citizens to have a holiday with few contacts - for example in holiday apartments or houses as well as in mobile homes or on campsites.

Due to massive differences in the restrictions on the Easter holiday, the evening deliberations were suspended for several hours.

In country circles there was talk of an open conflict between Merkel and five holiday countries that wanted to enable domestic tourism under strict conditions.
