Moscow (AP) - For professional boxer Adam Deines, the dream of a world title in light heavyweight has remained unfulfilled.

The 30-year-old from Magdeburg lost to the reigning double world champion Artur Beterbijew on Saturday evening in the Megasport Palace in Moscow due to a technical knockout in the tenth round.

The Russian sent yours to the ground with a series of blows, whereupon his trainer Dirk Dzemski threw in the towel.

Beterbijew was able to successfully defend his belts from the IBF and WBC associations and remains the only reigning world champion with a knockout rate of 100 percent.

For yours, the 21st professional fight was the biggest and most important of his career so far.

In front of 6,000 spectators, the outsider presented himself very agile on his feet in the first three rounds and was still able to successfully repel Beterbijew's attacks.
