Freiburg (AP) - Because of the red-green poor eyesight of a player, SC Freiburg will play in their yellow third jerseys in the home game against FC Augsburg on Sunday (6 p.m. / Sky).
This was announced by a spokesman for the Bundesliga club before kick-off when asked.
Normally the Breisgauer would have played in their red shirts as usual.
But since the FCA will appear in green jerseys in the Black Forest Stadium, there might have been a risk of confusion with the SC professional concerned.
"We said we had to change that," said SC trainer Christian Streich on the pay-TV channel Sky.
"We didn't want to take that risk."
