The still second vice president of the Government and candidate of United We Can to the Madrid elections of 4-M has warned the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, that if he finally reaches the regional Executive "he will lift the carpets" and, predictably, "she will end up charged and in prison for robbing hands full."

Iglesias has expressed himself in these terms this Sunday, in the course of a conference on the future Housing Law and the hypothetical regulation of the price of rents, an issue that, according to him, will end up seeing the light despite the reluctance of the PSOE, to which he reminds his obligation to comply with what is signed in the Government pact.

The leader of the

purple

formation

will make this issue one of the flags of his Madrid electoral campaign and will not hesitate to attack with all his artillery against the PP, which he fully assimilates with the extreme right and whom he accuses of having historically based his management in "corrupt and mafia practices".

According to Iglesias, both in the debate that is now taking place within the Government on this issue, and in the next Madrid elections, "what we are playing at is a political transition so that Spain finally complies with the Constitution", a compliance that he reduces to article 47, which includes the right to housing that must be guaranteed by the public powers.

Remember the 'tamayazo'

In this battle, he assured, "Madrid is a determining enclave because it is the territory that the oligarchies intend to use, taking refuge in an unprincipled ultra-right that has assumed the keys of

Trumpism

to resist modernization and changes."

Madrid has been, according to him, "the favorite terrain of corruption and where deputies were bought."

The Podemos candidate has put as an example of "the institutionalization of the power of the mafia, the criminals and the corrupt" that two PSOE deputies could be bought to govern the PP in Madrid, an episode known as the 'Tamayazo 'which took the presidency of the Community from the socialist Rafael Simancas.

Pablo Iglesias has emphasized that in the PP "they are very worried because Madrid is about what little they have left."

He maintains that, except in Spain proceed to the outlawing of some party, referring to the pro-

independence forces and

nationalists

, the

popular

"are impossible to the Council of Ministers".

"Builders and corrupt"

For this reason, in his opinion, "they intend to entrench themselves in Madrid with their builders and corrupt people", and when they say that they are claiming freedom, they refer only to "the freedom to disobey the law and rob the deputies with their hands full."

This is what, according to him, happens when Isabel Díaz Ayuso refuses to comply with the sentence that obliges her to return the 3,000 social homes sold to

vulture funds

under the mandate of Mayor

Ana Botella
