Wolfsburg (dpa / lni) - A 30-year-old driver crashed into a wall in Wolfsburg with a three-week-old car and was slightly injured.
The result: 30,000 euros in damage.
The driver was under the influence of alcohol, as the police announced on Sunday.
Accordingly, the man had left the street in a curve in Wolfsburg city center early on Saturday and crashed into the wall of a gas station for electric vehicles at high speed.
A witness called the police.
The 30-year-old was injured in the face and was hospitalized.
A total loss occurred on the vehicle.
The police initiated criminal proceedings against the driver for endangering road traffic as a result of alcohol and seized his driver's license.
