Its board met on Sunday and voted not to open up for future budget talks with the Sweden Democrats.

The votes were written at six to two.

"In gender equality issues, it is difficult to see issues where we can seek consensus with the Sweden Democrats, which is a party that does not stand up for women's rights," the union writes in a statement according to DN.

In a week's time, a party council will decide whether L in the future will be able to hold budget discussions with SD, which is likely to be required if a bourgeois government is to be formed.

The party leadership with leader Nyamko Sabuni wants this, while other votes within the party are against it.
