Braunschweig (dpa / lno) - The Hamburg Towers have also won the second game against the Löwen Braunschweig in the basketball Bundesliga within three days.

On Saturday, the team of coach Pedro Calles prevailed against Lower Saxony with 74:63 (34:27) and consolidated seventh place in the table with their 13th win of the season.

The best thrower from Hamburg was Jordan Swing with 23 points.

After a tough start, in which both teams scored two points each within just under five minutes, the Towers took the lead and never gave it up.

A game developed that was mainly characterized by strong defensive actions.

With three three-pointers before the break and a 5-0 run at the beginning of the second half, the Towers then gained a clear lead and, despite a short period of weakness in the final quarter, they could not take the victory.

The next task awaits the Hamburgers on Tuesday.

Then Alba Berlin is a guest.
