“At the request of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation, the competent authorities of the Kingdom of Spain will extradite to Russia a Russian citizen Sergei Gavrilov and an Ecuadorian citizen Cortez Quinones Francisco Xavier,” the department said.
It is noted that Gavrilov is accused of abuse of office, also, in 2015 in Cheboksary, he was found guilty of complicity in fraud and abuse of office and sentenced to 4 years in prison.
Earlier it was reported that Argentina made a decision to extradite to Russia a citizen of Colombia, accused of stealing jewelry worth 160 million rubles.
