Potsdam (dpa / bb) - The Ministry of Education has suspended the obligation to teach face-to-face in Brandenburg until the Easter break.

This applies to all grades with the exception of the final classes, the ministry announced on Sunday.

This would allow parents and legal guardians to decide whether the children would take part in lessons on site by the Easter break.

"The alternate teaching model chosen by the schools will continue to exist until the Easter break," it said.

The Easter holidays start on March 29th.
