Munich (dpa / lby) - A pedestrian was hit by a car of an 80-year-old woman in Munich and seriously injured.
The 28-year-old fell on the hood, banged her head against the windshield and was then thrown onto the road, said a police spokeswoman on Sunday.
There the woman lay unconscious.
The 80-year-old overlooked the woman after initial police knowledge when she crossed the street at a zebra crossing on Saturday.
An ambulance took the 28-year-old to a clinic.
The exact course of the accident is still being determined, according to the police.
The property damage to the car amounts to several thousand euros.
