The Governor mentioned pending formal approval from the European Medicines Agency (EMA). 

Earlier, Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi said that Rome will be able to make a decision on the admission of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine to the country if a decision is not made at the EMA level.
