The man, a forty-two-year-old local, was arrested and sanctioned for violating the curfew imposed from 10pm to 5am.

He told the military that he had been "thrown out of the house by his wife", showing himself somewhat distressed.

The carabinieri, however, have ascertained that the man, a freelancer, is single and lives alone.

A 400 euro fine was thus imposed on him.
