Regensburg (dpa / lby) - Again several posters of an anti-racist art campaign were damaged in Regensburg.

This was announced by the organizer of the commemoration on Saturday.

In the night from Friday to Saturday, 13 posters with the picture and name of one of the victims of the Hanau attack in February 2020 were torn down or stolen.

The police are investigating the incident.

The posters are to be put up again on Sunday as part of a rally planned in advance on the occasion of the International Weeks Against Racism under the motto "Solidarity: limitless".

The posters were demolished in the night from Monday to Tuesday.

After they were hung up for the first time on Tuesday, they were stuck with stickers with right-wing extremist content, the integration council of the city of Regensburg announced on Friday.

The integration advisory board reported to the police.
