The Meteorological Agency issued a tsunami warning, and the wave height is expected to reach about 1 meter.
According to data from the Japan Meteorological Agency, the epicenter of the earthquake was 141.7 degrees east longitude and 38.4 degrees north latitude, and the focal depth was about 60 kilometers.
There were obvious earthquakes in Miyagi, Fukushima, Iwate and other places.
There was also a noticeable shaking in Tokyo.
Miyagi Prefecture is located in the northeastern part of Honshu Island, Japan.
