Roman Abramovich - owner of Chelsea, who rivals in the English Premier League - said that the London club's victory in a large number of titles and championships proves that its policy of hiring coaches has been successful.

Twelve coaches have taken over the leadership of Chelsea's coaching staff since the Russian billionaire bought the club in 2003.

And recently German Thomas Tuchel took over the technical leadership, succeeding Frank Lampard last January.

During this period, Chelsea won 16 major championships, including the European Champions League, the European League twice and the English Premier League five times.

"I think that the tournament awards speak for themselves and our accomplishments, and my goal is to continue to win prizes and build for the future," Abramovich said to the American magazine "Forbes" (FORBES).

He added, "Chelsea has a rich history, and I feel very fortunate to play a role in achieving this. The club was before me, and it will continue after me, but my job is to work on achieving success in the present and the future."

And the Russian businessman added, "I think that we put our interest on top of the priorities when we make decisions, and everyone who joins us knows our goals on and off the field."

Currently, Chelsea is fourth among the Premier League teams, with 51 points from 29 matches, and will meet its guest Sheffield United in the FA Cup final on Sunday.
