Erfurt (dpa / th) - 84 toothbrush heads stolen from a 29-year-old shoplifter in a supermarket in the north of Erfurt.
As the police announced on Friday, the man had hidden the dental care utensils under his jacket and in his backpack on Thursday.
When he was stopped by a shop assistant and asked for ID, the man refused to do so.
Only when the police called in to search his belongings during the identity check did the 84 sets come into daylight.
It is not known whether these were intended for the "shoplifter himself or for resale," said the police report.
