The alleged MDMA, a synthetic drug, which the police announced on Wednesday having seized in Saint-Ouen (Seine-Saint-Denis), turned out to be finally a neutral powder, we learned Friday from concordant sources.

On Wednesday, the Paris police headquarters announced on its Twitter account that it had "suppressed in Saint-Ouen a packaging workshop for narcotics (MDMA, ecstasy) which fueled clandestine parties" and seized a million euros in merchandise.

The tweet was accompanied by two photos showing pink powder and sort of small pills of the same color in sachets.
