Mitterteich (dpa / lby) - In an accident near Mitterteich (Tirschenreuth district), a man was seriously injured.
According to the police, the 41-year-old man was driving the federal highway 15 in the direction of Mitterteich on Thursday evening when his vehicle collided with the curb at a roundabout, tipped over and came off the road.
The car flew down an embankment about 15 meters and overturned several times.
The driver was also thrown out of his car.
Two paramedics from a nearby ambulance helped the man who was seriously injured and was taken to a hospital by rescue helicopter.
