Leipzig (AP) - The handball players at SC DHfK Leipzig have made another personnel decision and extended the contract with home grown Lucas Krzikalla ahead of schedule until 2025.

The 27-year-old right-wing winger has played 224 cross-league games for SC DHfK since 2012, in which he scored 554 goals.

Also in the current Bundesliga season he is one of the top performers in coach André Haber's team and is in great demand as a sure seven-meter shooter.

He scored 51 of his 68 goals this season from the point.

In his position, he shares the game with the Dane Patrick Wiesmach.

«I am very happy that Lucas will be with us for so long.

He is one of our strongest players, athletically and emotionally, ”said Haber, commenting on the contract extension.
