In Colombia, more than 5 thousand cases of coronavirus were detected per day

This was reported by the country's Ministry of Health and Social Protection on Twitter.

Over the past 24 hours, 138 people with coronavirus have died in Colombia.

The total number of deaths in the country was 61,636.

Earlier, Colombia extended the ban on crossing land and river borders for another three months - until June 1 - in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
