We do not know if he was stoned when he passed the gendarmes but the smell of his cigarette put the chip in the ear of this patrol.

On February 26, a gendarmerie patrol met in Maubourguet, in the Hautes-Pyrénées, a man visibly unaware of the regulations on the use and possession of cannabis.

This person was walking down the street in the late afternoon with a joint in his hand.

Culture room at home

The man, in possession of a few grams of weed, quickly admits having embarked on an artisanal production of cannabis.

The gendarmes then carried out a search of his home, where they found that the bedroom also served as a culture room.

Under this tent, officials got hold of 25 plants of cannabis and 148 grams of dried weed.

The narcotics were seized and destroyed in the process.

The investigation of the gendarmes will have to determine if this herb was intended for personal consumption or for resale.
