Bielefeld (AP) - RB Leipzig's defender Willi Orban got the season record for the most passes in one game on Friday evening.
In the 1-0 win at Arminia Bielefeld, the 28-year-old beat Bayer Leverkusen's Edmond Tapsoba with 163 passes, who had played the most in just one game of the 2020/21 season with 136 passes.
Julian Weigl, who, according to data service provider Opta, played 210 passes in the Borussia Dortmund jersey in May 2016 in the game against 1. FC Köln, holds the best value since detailed data collection.
