Sinsheim (AP) - FC Bayern Munich has reached the semi-finals in the women's DFB Cup.

The league leaders of the Bundesliga prevailed on Friday evening in the quarter-finals at third-placed TSG 1899 Hoffenheim with 2: 1 (1: 1).

Lea Schüller scored both goals for the 23rd competitive win in a row for Munich (28th / 48th minute).

The Hoffenheim team only managed the connection goal by Tabea Waßmuth (60th) in Sinsheim.

Defending champion VfL Wolfsburg will receive Werder Bremen in the second quarter-finals on Saturday (2 p.m.), before the other semi-finalists will be determined on Sunday in the games of SC Freiburg against Turbine Potsdam (1 p.m.) and SG Andernach against Eintracht Frankfurt (3 p.m.).

The semifinals will be played on April 3rd and 4th, the final will take place on May 30th in Cologne.
