The publication of the report on the processing of cases of abuse in the Archdiocese of Cologne has further personnel consequences.
As the Archbishopric announced on Friday, the Auxiliary Bishop of Cologne Ansgar Puff asked the Cologne Cardinal Rainer Maria Woelki for his temporary leave of absence.
Woelki therefore complied with this request and temporarily released Puff from his duties.
