Kiel (dpa / lno) - According to the Ministry of Health, 600 pallets of masks fell through quality control in Schleswig-Holstein and were sent back to the federal government.
The State Office for Social Services is checking all masks that the federal government delivers to the state's central warehouse for the strategic reserve, the ministry said on Friday.
On Thursday, the Hamburg school authorities prohibited school staff from using the KN95 masks made available by the federal government.
The reason is the inadequate quality standard of the around 300,000 corona protective masks.
