Russian President Vladimir Putin has proposed a live debate to his US colleague Joe Biden on Friday or next Monday.
He invited Biden to "continue our discussion, but on the condition that we do so live," Putin said on Russian television on Thursday.
The Kremlin chief had previously wished Biden “health” after his serious allegations.
“As for what my American colleague has said, we are really, as he said, personally acquainted: what would I answer him?
I would tell him: stay healthy!
I wish him health, ”Putin said on Thursday.
In an interview with the US television broadcaster ABC, Biden had previously answered yes to the question of whether he considered Putin to be a “killer”.
His wishes for Biden are "without irony and without joke", stressed Putin during a video link with citizens on the annexed Black Sea peninsula of Crimea, which is celebrating its seventh anniversary of "joining" Russia.
He also made a small point: "We always see our own characteristics in other people and think that they are like ourselves." The Kremlin chief also said at the online meeting that Russia is ready to cooperate with the US was - but according to his own interests.

Russia's meddling in the US election
