China News Service, March 18th. According to the Russian TASS News Agency (TASS), on the 17th local time, the US Department of Commerce stated that from March 18, the US government will expand export restrictions to Russia.

A statement from the department stated that Russia was accused of "using illegal nerve agents."

The U.S. Department of Commerce will expand export restrictions on Russia based on the U.S. Secretary of State’s previous decision that the Russian government’s use of chemical or biological weapons violates international law or is lethal.

The US Department of Commerce stated that starting March 18, it will implement a "presumptive rejection" policy for the export and re-export of items that are controlled for security reasons.

At the same time, certain exceptions will be specifically provided for the export of products related to civil aviation and government space cooperation.

Because of the "poisoning" of Russian opposition activist Navalny, US Secretary of State Blincoln stated on March 2 that Washington and the European Union had condemned Moscow for "using chemical weapons in an attempted assassination."

At the same time, the US Treasury Department included seven Russian officials on the sanctions list.

14 Russian organizations have also been included in the sanctions list by the United States for "producing biological and chemical weapons."

The Russian side stated that the new sanctions imposed on Russia by the United States and the European Union on the Navaline incident are an interference in Russia's internal affairs and are unacceptable.
