The RT team received a special prize for professional skill of the JWR

The award ceremony took place at the World Trade Center.

The Golden Pen of Russia prize, established by the Union of Journalists of Russia, is awarded annually for outstanding professional services, long-term work in the domestic press, on radio and television.

Today the awards were held in six nominations.

In total, 28 journalists and two creative media teams became the laureates of the award.

In September 2020, RT promo videos received nine Mediabrand awards.

In 2019, RT won the main prize of the Mediabrand award in two categories, in 2018 - in four.

The TV channel is also the owner of a special award, presented within the framework of the annual prize of the Union of Journalists of Russia “Golden Pen” and “Runet Prize”.

RT is the only Russian TV channel to be nominated nine times for the prestigious international Emmy award.
