Letta: "Young people, central theme"

The question of "young people" is decisive for Enrico Letta.

On the one hand, the school and the education system in general, with the project of a mandatory mini Erasmus for teenagers to be financed with funds from the Next Generation Eu.

On the other hand, the right to vote for 16-year-olds, a participation tool that, for Letta, can be introduced starting from the administrative offices.

This is an idea that the dem leader is pursuing despite criticism from the right.

"Giving weight to the issue of young people, by voting for sixteen year olds, means forcing sixteen year olds to get an idea. I don't think the country will go to the table for one million more students who vote, because that's what we're talking about."

We could start immediately, adds Letta, "from the administrative offices. It would be a positive thing".
