An extra warning of possible rare cases of blood clots (thrombosis) in cerebral veins will be added, it said.
The aim is to start injecting the active ingredient again this Friday, said Federal Health Minister Jens Spahn (CDU) on Thursday after the EMA's vote and consultations with the countries.
