"Salmon Rebellion", some are happy and some are worried

According to reports, many people who changed their name to "Salmon" said that most of them have made preparations for the change of name, and there is not much loss. After the event, most people will change back to the original name.

Regarding this "wave of name change", Taiwanese people commented on both sides.

Some people believe that this is a misuse of public resources for their own personal gain.

However, some people think that young people are creative, not necessarily to follow the trend, but to leave crazy memories while they are young.

Some household registration personnel who handled the name change said that some people who planned to change the name were joking and not serious, so they refused to give it. Some household registration personnel said privately that if their children wanted to change the name of "salmon", they would definitely stop them, and they would not be allowed to change their names. The name is a trivial matter; however, many household administrators regard it as "young people have their own ideas".
