The September funfair in Nantes 2020 edition -

The fairgrounds remained hopeful.

In vain.

We will not see rides or candy stands in April cours Saint-Pierre in Nantes.

The traditional spring funfair will indeed not take place in 2021, announces the city of Nantes.

The event, which generally takes place over a period of one month, cannot be held due to health restrictions linked to Covid-19 and, more particularly, to “the ban on gatherings on public roads”.

The previous edition of the spring fair, during the first confinement, had already been canceled.

On the other hand, the even larger autumn funfair had indeed been maintained last September during Saint-Pierre and Saint-André.

It took place with a reinforced health protocol.

The customers had been loyal to the meeting.

During the last end of year celebrations, six rides were authorized to open their doors in downtown Nantes.

But they were dispersed and isolated, justifies the city of Nantes.
