Erdogan's bodyguard commits suicide and leaves a message

The bodyguard of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan committed suicide, after leaving a message indicating the insults and threats that occurred to him during his work, according to several Turkish newspapers.

Colleagues of the officer, Muhammad Ali Bulut, discovered his body when they went to his apartment to check on him after he was absent from work and switched off his phone.

In his suicide note, which they found handwritten, Bulot said: “You should deal with your employees in a better way, instead of insulting and threatening them with arbitrary dismissal, humiliating them and making them liars. Every man of us has his pride, and I could not stand all these insults.”

"I wish you could have treated the employees better and asked about their condition," the president's bodyguard reminded two people with initials CB and A.Ö.

He also stated in his letter that "he does not want any of his superiors to attend his funeral, except for one police commander."
