A 37-year-old woman was tried on Tuesday before the Saint-Brieuc criminal court for sexual assault on a minor, reports

Living in the Loudéac region, this mother of three was accused of having had sexual relations with a 14-year-old boy of Romanian origin living in her neighborhood.

It was the teenager's parents who discovered their son's affair with the thirty-something who was giving him support lessons.

Faced with the woman's refusal to end the relationship, they ended up filing a complaint.

After that, the teenager ran away from home, leaving the family home to take refuge with the woman.

Registered in the national sex offender file

The latter had been placed in police custody and imprisoned at the end of January, the gendarmes having discovered that she did not respect her judicial control and continued to exchange with the teenager.

At the stand, the accused explained that she had "fallen madly in love" with the boy and that she welcomed him to her home "to protect him", the teenager accusing his parents of mistreatment.

She was sentenced to three years in prison, two of which were suspended.

She is also prohibited from coming into contact with the boy and his parents and will no longer be able to exercise an activity related to minors for five years.

His name has also been entered in the national sex offender file.
