The moderates in Region Blekinge are shaken by an internal power struggle, where regional councilor Emma Stjernlöf (M) is required to resign from her own party and has been isolated from all internal party work.

The group leaders for the Liberals and the Christian Democrats have criticized the regional board chairman Lennarth Förerg's (M) handling of the conflict - and said that it threatens Alliance cooperation.

Last week, therefore, the Moderates' county chairman Roger Fredriksson called for a crisis meeting, which was dissolved without reaching a solution.

This is how the collaboration will be saved

But now the Moderates are announcing that a solution to the conflicts has been found.

In a press release, the party writes that Emma Stjernlöf may sit as chairman of the health and medical care committee and return to participate in the Alliance's internal affairs.

After the battles: Regional council on holiday

On Tuesday, SVT Nyheter Blekinge was able to reveal that the chairman of the regional board, Lennarth Förberg, has gone on a two-week holiday.

- Lennarth himself has made the assessment that he needs to take a vacation to recover.

The turbulence has taken a heavy toll on him, said Roger Fredriksson after the message.
