An investigation was opened by the prosecutor's office in Grenoble after anonymous posters in the grounds of Sciences Po which accused two professors by name of Islamophobia.

After relaying this collage on Twitter, the UNEF expressed its "regrets".

Its president however reaffirms her commitment against Islamophobia.

INTERVIEW

"We did not participate in the display," said the president of the UNEF.

Posters accusing two professors of Sciences Po Grenoble of Islamophobia had been pasted two weeks ago on the building of this Institute of Political Studies, triggering the opening of an investigation for "insult" and "degradation".

The student union Unef had shared the image of these collages on social networks, before quickly removing it.

"We have already expressed regret about this post," said Mélanie Luce, guest of Europe 1 on Wednesday.

However, she sees "two subjects" in this controversy: on the one hand the "inadmissible placarding", on the other the fight against Islamophobia.
