Cologne (dpa) - After a positive Corona test in the functional team, 1. FC Cologne canceled its team training today.
The club announced that this was done as a precaution and proactively in coordination with the Cologne health department.
The entire staff and the players were tested again.
All the results of the rapid tests remained negative.
A PCR test is scheduled for the following day.
Should this series of tests also turn out negative, the team of coach Markus Gisdol can then resume team training after consultation with the authorities.
On March 20, Cologne's Bundesliga match against Borussia Dortmund (3:30 p.m.) is on the program.
