Leipzig (AP) - The handball players of the SC DHfK Leipzig have to do without backcourt player Martin Larsen for a long time.
The 28-year-old Dane tore the inner ligament in his right knee during training, as investigations at the Leipzig University Hospital revealed on Wednesday.
The people of Leipzig expect a downtime of six to eight weeks.
Larsen had switched from the French club Pays D'Aix UC to SC DHfK before the season and has so far scored 34 goals in 16 Bundesliga games for coach André Haber's team.
