The amendment to be made to Part 5 of Art.
19 of the Federal Law "On Advertising", will prohibit the distribution of sound advertising using sound equipment, which is located on the walls and roofs of buildings, as well as outside them.
“Sound advertising is becoming intrusive and negatively affecting the working conditions and leisure of citizens.
In this regard, social tension is growing, since residents of houses located in the territories adjacent to trading floors are forced to listen to the same advertising information continuously throughout the day, ”reads the explanatory note to the bill.
On February 1, a bill banning sound advertising on the streets was submitted to the State Duma.
