Hamburg (dpa) - Coach Frank Schmidt from 1. FC Heidenheim has not ruled out a break in the season in the 2nd Bundesliga due to the increasing number of corona cases.

Due to positive corona tests at Holstein Kiel, the home game of the Heidenheimers against the North Germans last Friday was canceled at short notice.
The Kiel team and support staff are in quarantine.
The FCH game on Saturday at Hamburger SV, second in the table, is also at risk after a suspected corona case at HSV was confirmed on Tuesday.
The responsible health department in the Hanseatic city must now decide whether only the affected player or the entire team needs to be quarantined.

Jahn Regensburg has just finished the forced time-out and will play his first of two catch-up games against SpVgg Greuther Fürth on Wednesday (6.30 p.m.).
