Neubrandenburg (dpa / mv) - In the Dietrich Bonhoeffer Clinic in Neubrandenburg, the cardiological ward was closed after a corona outbreak.
In the past few days, seven patients have tested positive for the corona virus, as the clinic reported on Tuesday.
The cause of the outbreak is not yet known.
It was found in the patients as part of standardized monitoring measures.
Employees are not affected, but not all test results are available yet.
Patients whose state of health permitted it were released into quarantine at home in coordination with the health department.
All other patients have been isolated and will continue to be treated.
Until the end of the week, patients whose clinical picture allows this will not be admitted.
Other internal, plannable examinations and interventions will also be suspended until Friday.
