Berlin (dpa / bb) - The police have identified a suspect who is said to have injured a passenger in the subway with a knife after a dispute over his missing mouth and nose cover.
The police said on Tuesday that it was a 25-year-old who could be identified by clues from the population after the publication of images from a surveillance camera.
The investigation continues.
The suspect got into an argument with other passengers in a Berlin subway last October because of his missing mask.
After he changed the car, according to testimonies, he is said to have hit a 62-year-old cyclist several times in the ribs and given several headbuttons.
Then the alleged perpetrator pulled out a knife, held the older man to the throat and injured his face.
The 25-year-old then fled at the Onkel-Toms-Hütte station.
