Reichenberg (dpa / lby) - A 69-year-old woman was killed in a traffic accident in Lower Franconia.
At an intersection on federal highway 19 near Reichenberg (Würzburg district), two cars collided, the police announced on Tuesday.
The 69-year-old was in the passenger seat of one of the cars.
The 75-year-old driver sitting next to her and the 65-year-old driver of the other car were each seriously injured and were taken to hospital.
As a police spokesman said, traffic at the intersection is regulated by traffic lights.
According to initial testimony, the 65-year-old drove across the street at Grün.
The course of the accident is still being determined.
