Hamburg (dpa / lno) - In Hamburg, 209 newly detected corona infections were added on Tuesday.
That is 59 less than on Monday, but 6 more than Tuesday a week ago, as the health authority announced.
The incidence, i.e. the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days, rose slightly from 90.6 to 90.9.
A week ago this value was 80.4.
However, these are incidence values calculated by the Hamburg health authority.
The value of the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) calculated on a different basis is decisive - also for a possible reaching of the 100 limit, from which an emergency brake agreed between the federal government and the states would apply upon return to lockdown.
And that was 83 for Hamburg on Tuesday.
According to the information, 55,484 hamburgers have been proven to have been infected with Sars-CoV-2 since the outbreak of the pandemic;
According to the RKI, 49,900 of them are now considered recovered.
The institute gave the number of corona deaths in Hamburg unchanged at 1332 for the second day in a row.

According to the authorities, as of Monday 262 corona patients were being cared for in Hamburg's hospitals, 101 of them in intensive care units.
That was 29 or one more than last Friday.
