Brazilian football legend Pele sent a special message of congratulations to Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo after he skipped and reached the official goal number 770 in his football career, after scoring a hat-trick on Sunday against Cagliari in the Italian League.
Ronaldo broke the record barrier registered in Pele's name in the number of official goals he scored throughout his career (769), by scoring 3 goals that led Juventus to victory over Cagliari 3-1, and cementing his place in the top scorer for Calcio for the current season with 23 goals.
And Pele posted on his personal Instagram page, an old photo collected by Ronaldo, on which he wrote: "Cristiano, life is one journey, and everyone makes their own journey, and what a wonderful journey you take! Secretly, I congratulate you for breaking the record for goals scored in official matches. "

Ronaldo responded to Pele, through his account on Instagram, saying, "Today, when I reached the official goal number 770 in my professional career, my first words go directly to Pele, there is no player in the world who did not grow up hearing stories about Pele's matches, goals and achievements, and I am no exception."
