Pablo Iglesias and Isabel Díaz Ayuso are old acquaintances of Madrid politics.

Eight years ago, months before Podemos was launched, in the general strike of 14-N, both appeared at the debate table of the La Tuerka program, on Channel 33, in the Vallecas studios.

Then, at the end, one of the promising young people of the Madrid PP and the Politics professor at the Complutense University, went out together, Íñigo Errejón and Tania Sánchez, among others, were there.

Their relationship is very different since both hold positions of responsibility.

His hooks in recent years have been continuous, especially for the management of the pandemic.

The last scuffle between the two was last February, when Ayuso demanded that the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, immediately cease and put the second vice president "out of the institutions" by questioning democracy and always being, he said,

behind vandalism movements in protests over the imprisonment of rapper Pablo Hasel.

During the pandemic, Iglesias harshly criticized, for example, the neighborhood restrictions agreed at first by the Ministry of Health, which are

"classist and segregating", since they affected humble neighborhoods such as Vallecas and Carabanchel.

"There are many people in Madrid who have the feeling that some are talking about segregation. It was serious for Ayuso to say that the problem of the pandemic is foreign children who do not have their parents or try to criminalize the poor," Iglesias said, who also accused Ayuso of "playing with the lives of

Madrid people" by asking Sánchez to move on to phase 1 of the de-escalation at the beginning of May.

The regional president has never hesitated to always include Podemos in her attacks on Pedro Sánchez, and specifically Iglesias and his "uncontrolled" "for managing the lives and feelings of citizens" and for "attacking the heart of the autonomy "during the pandemic.

One of the biggest confrontations occurred over the management of the crisis in the residences.

Both leaders blamed each other for the high death toll (about 6,000).

Ayuso did not hesitate to reproach Pablo Iglesias on several occasions for attacking his management in the residences when he was in sole command "and he never did absolutely anything for any".

"Whenever he has been able, he has added gasoline."
