March 15, 2021 Murder in the street in Naples around 19.30.
Antonio Volpe, born in 1943, already known to the police, was killed with several gunshots.
The ambush took place in via Leopardi in Fuorigrotta, a district on the western outskirts of Naples.
The few people present on the street (due to the anti-Covid measures that have also put Campania in the red zone) immediately fled.
The man died instantly from his serious injuries.
The immediate aid of the 118 health workers was useless. The reconstruction of the facts by the investigators has already started: the Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit of the Provincial Command of Naples are investigating the matter. All-out investigations to identify those responsible for the murder.
