Atzelgift (dpa / lrs) - A woman and her one-year-old child were slightly injured in a kitchen fire on Monday in Atzelgift in the Westerwald district.
According to the police, a pot of oil caught fire in the kitchen of a family house.
The fire brigade was able to extinguish the fire quickly after it arrived, so that only an extractor hood was affected.
The 29-year-old woman and her child were taken to hospital for observation on suspicion of smoke inhalation.
