Next, I need to give you some unfortunate news. Unfortunately, BTS did not receive the Grammy Award. The record for winning all three major music awards in the United States has been postponed, but I am still proud enough that our popular singer nominated for the Grammy Awards and performed as the protagonist on that stage.

Reporter Jung Hye-kyung reports.

BTS, the first Korean popular singer to be nominated for the Grammy Award, missed the honor of the award.

In the'Best Pop Duo, Group Performance' category at the 63rd Grammy Awards Pre-Award Ceremony, the joint album of Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande, who competed with BTS' mega hit <Dynamite>, received an award.

BTS first appeared on the stage as a Grammy Award winner from 2019, and last year performed jointly with rapper Lil Nas X.

This year, as a nominee and performer, we will be performing alone at the Grammy Awards, which starts at 9am our time.

Earlier, BTS won famous American music awards such as the Billboard Music Awards and the American Music Awards.

Although the record of the first singer in Asia, which swept all three major music awards in the United States due to the failure to receive the Grammy Award, has been postponed, it is evaluated that it has laid a big foothold in the leap of Korean pop songs.
